luxury e-commerce experience about perfumes
00

problem
My goal was to design a premium e-commerce platform for a fictional, high-end perfume brand. Naturally, leaning into AI-assisted visuals felt like an efficient starting point. However, as I transitioned the initial dark, 'chocolate-toned' AI mockups into Framer and began introducing interactive animations, a major flaw emerged. The dark aesthetics combined with artificial generation created an overwhelming sense of heaviness and digital coldness. Instead of evoking an exclusive, sophisticated fragrance experience, the interface felt rigid, synthetic, and disconnected from the luxury perfume market.
solution
To fix this, I made a strategic pivot during the development phase. I decoupled the visual identity from the heavy, dark artificial tones and completely reimagined the concept into a 'light forest' aesthetic. By moving away from dark luxury clichés toward an airy, organic, and ethereal visual language, the interactive motion design in Framer instantly came alive. The new direction perfectly balanced the cutting-edge look of AI with the fresh, natural, and premium essence required for a high-end fragrance boutique.
The goal in creating the images was to reduce the AI quality as much as possible. The same quest - to distinguish the first layout from the final one.
